Welcome,

What a month it has been since the last update on the site! We lost an entire month to medical tests, the flu, a blown out back, sore throats and more! The month of June was more like the first month of school than the first month of summer break. Everyone is on the mend and I FINALLY made it back into the shop to work.

The Lotus 99T kit is in full production with the photo etch and the metal casting arriving close to July 7th. The production of both of these items landed very close to the July 4th break for both suppliers and this resulted in delivery being pushed ahead a little. This is a fantastic kit, totaling around 200 parts and will make a stunning build of one of Senna’s early rides. We targeted a price of $38.50 and when we scratched all the numbers it came in at $39.50, which we feel is pretty good considering how extensive the kit became.

This coming weekend I’ll be finishing up some orders for the CanAm M8 kits and the milling on the McLaren P4/6 Brake kits. I will be focusing on getting these orders out the door and delivered and will then focus on finishing the Williams FW14B Set 1.

Everything is packaged for the Williams Set 1 and they are awaiting the completion of the dampers and the electronics connectors. The FW14B’s turned into a monster of a project but they will certainly be worth the wait.

It is nearly impossible to get any work done during the week, due to, and as many of you know, I am a stay-at-home father. What I will be able to do, is to pacakge the Lotus 99T kits during the week and ready them for shipment during the beginning of the upcoming week.

I have made a few updates to the site and while reviewing it overall I have determine there is much more that needs to be cleaned up. I will attempt to work on this some during the middle of each week and reserve my weeekend time for getting product produced and out the door.

As announced, beginning is September, I will be running Thunder Valley on a full time basis and this will resolve a number of prodcution and delivery problems. During the early part of September I will focus for one week on getting the shop and office organized which will allow me to then focus on production and completing models that are being built for clients.

I was asked to be more informative on what is happening around Thunder Valley on a more regular basis, I hope you will find this update more benefical. Please feel welcome to e-mail or call if you have any specific questions or concerns.

I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Best Regards,

Paul
