Progress Report
Greetings Everyone,
August has turned out to be a very busy and successful month. The Lotus 99T kits came together and we have been filling all the pre-orders and shipping on a regular basis. Ebay has kept us very busy with the selling of nearly all my 1/20th scale F1 kits and related detailing items. There are auctions still going on but the amount is starting to dwindle. The funds from the sale of the auctions is being invested into the business to purchase some much needed equipment. This new equipment will allow us to produce better parts and reduce our production time.
The business that was up for sale has been pulled off the market and we will continue to run it. While we had interested buyer, we were contacted by a international distributor who will be picking up the full product line and take over all marketing and distribution services. Had we not put the business up for sale, I feel this great opportunity would have not materialized. This new opportunity will bring about a minimum sales growth of 500% and will allow us to invest even more into Thunder Valley, which will further our resources to produce some great products.
We will be taking a short vacation in the near future and we will continue to wrap up the shipping of the majority of the ebay auctions that have ended and received payment. School for my boys will begin around September 9th and during that week we will be giving the shop and office a good cleaning and reorganization. The following week we will be focusing on back-ordered items, the FW14B set 1 and instructions for several of the our products, such as the: McLaren M8 CanAm kit, Lotus 99T, DFV Photo Etch, the Williams kits and more. Closer to the end of September we will be announcing the release dates for new products including finalizing Set 2 for the Williams FW14B

The general plan for now until the end of this year is to fill all of our existing orders and get the business running smoother by having all products in stock and ready for shipment. This is a big goal and a very important one, but one we know we must accomplish to restore everyone confidence in Thunder Valley.
