Our Future…

Filed under: News — paul @ 3:05 pm

There has been some discussion on www.f1m.com recently and not all of it has been positive, unfortunately some of it is deserved. There are major changes on the horizan for Thunder Valley and it includes deleting some products. Due to the conversations on f1m some of those have been announced now through updates within the site, and, initially, some prices have been increased. I don’t like raising prices and depending upon how discussions continue I may, in the next few days, lower those prices back down. Between now and early September I will continue to ponder what products must be deleted and may change my mind and continue to produce others. There are several new products that are ready to go into production and be released but I have not done so as I need to clean up some of my messes….mainly the dampers for the FW14B’s. (Look for a pic of those in a week or two here and on f1m).

More announcements will be forthcoming as I finalize where the company will head. To date the company has been at the break-even point which is fine with me, as returning it to operation was not with the intent to make money but to have it be self-sustaining and allowing me to share with others what I was making for myself.

Thunder Valley is, and will remain, a very transparent company, be it good news or bad.

Any concerns, thoughts, wishes, etc. please e-mail me and we’ll open it to discussion.

Take good care everyone,

Paul

  1. Hi Paul,
As I’ve already said on F1M it’s always a pleasure to deal with you!
I’m very surprised by the discussions on F1M… All of us have more kits than could be made, so waiting a bit for one…
You are one of the last who can produce such high quality products and we know it’s a long time process…wich is important is to have it!
Wish you to do those nice kits for a long time!
    Cheers,
    Pascal.
