Restocking Products
Welcome to a new update.
Products are starting to be restocked and this is good. It is going slower than I want as the current economy is limiting the cash flow. The Lotus 25 kits are now back in stock and the Honda RA272 kits will return to inventory in approx. two weeks. The Lotus 99T kits will return in approx. four weeks as soon as the photo etch gets here. The McLaren MP4/6 kits will be next and will be complete including the dampers. After that the Williams FW14B kits will be restocked but I am still working on the dampers.
One element of the restocking process is to also build up the inventory so we can ship products in a timely manner, which should be within 3 to 7 days. In order to achived this we need to produce many more parts than what is needed to fulfill our back-orders and pre-orders. The Summer months of June, July & August put the brakes on nearly all production due to my boys being home for Summer Break and what I want to achieve before that time arrives again is to have stock so I can pull form it and ship orders.
We have a production plan for each product and they are being taking one at a time in order of those that can be restocked the fastest.
Updates are being made to the web site a little at a time. In the near future we will list what the inventory is on hand so everyone knows when they call or email if the item(s) they are interested in are in-stock or need to be put on the pre-order list.
The Ferrari 641/2 (F190) kits are going to be moved up for release because we need to generate some more consistant cash flow. The number of machined parts will be reduced in this new product as previously told in prior posts and e-Newsletters. The MP4/6 and FW14B kits will follow this trend once the current supply of dampers are exhausted. Look for the Ferrari kit to be available around mid-April.
I am disappointed that it is necessary to delete so many of the mahcined parts but they simply take too much time and are what got us behind the 8-Ball of fulfilling orders. As more equipment comes in I will look at adding what I can back to the kits but will do so only if it can be done without the business getting behind again.
Additionally, I have some clients who want some custom parts and they deserve to have time made available for them as well.
As always, please e-mail me if you have any questions. info@thundervalleyf1.com
