We are pleased to release this long-awaited brake kit to our increasing lineup of products to construct an extremely accurate F40 in the LM variant. The kit consists of 76 CNC machined aluminum parts along with 4 simulated carbon fiber rotors. The rotors are precision-made and incorporate realistic ventilation holes and can be easily detailed to have a used look.

The machined and drilled brake rotor shown is a sample piece and is displayed as an example of what will be available at a later date. There will be two different variations of machined brake rotors and will be offered as an upgrade item. All kits will ship with the simulated carbon fiber brake rotors by default.

We meticulously researched every component that makes up the LM brakes and designed each part in the kit to be an exact, scaled replica of the full-size part. Being machined and anodized, the brake hats feature a matte black look, perfectly resembling the sleek finish on the real parts. The central rim locating pins, mounting hardware, spindles and wheel nuts have all been faithfully replicated to give your F40 LM perfect looking brakes, providing unparalleled realism worthy of displaying your car with no wheels at all (unless, of course, you are interested in our upcoming release of OZ Racing F40 LM rim set ).

In the image shown, the spindles displayed are from during the production process, the spindles will be shipped threaded.

Formula Perfect Cast Metal Engine & Transaxle Set

Pictured below is a quick image of a portion of the Metal F40 LM Engine and Transaxle Set. We'll post another image of the complete set along with pricing. This set of casting will be very reasonably priced and will allow you to add even more realism to your F40 by using and engine and transaxle unit that are actually cast in metal. Remove the bolt heads, drill and replace with machined aluminum bolts and nuts for a fantastic look. We have an engine part way through this process and we'll post a picture of it as well so you can see how great it looks.

Formula Perfect Electronics Connectors

Pictured below is what our current electronics connectors look like when they have had some wiring and the shrink tubing added. The next picture below is of a connector as-machined.

We're working on some special electronics connectors that are two pieces and held together using super magnets. This will allow you to put components in place and then working on the wiring looms separately. You'll then be able to install and remove the wiring harnesses as needed until you have everything just right. They'll make building and assembly a lot easier. We'll make the pre-production samples soon and publish photos here.

Each 2-piece magnetic connector is $2.50 and each 1-piece non-magnetic connector is $0.95 each.

Formula Perfect Machined Pedals Set

Our newest addition to our growing line of 1/8 scale products! It is a beautiful set of CNC machined pedals for the fabulous Ferrari F40 LMs. These were replicated from photos of an actual Michelotto F40 LM, so the detail is exact. We will also provide the simulated flat socket head cap screws to add that perfect, final detail.

Formula Perfect Front Radiator Shroud

Pictured in the three images below is our front radiator shroud for the Ferrari F40 LM in 1/8 scale. As you can see from the pencil that is noticeable in most of the images, these parts are LARGE. This part is designed to basically snap into place, so installation is as simple as it gets. I have yet to develop a debris screen for the front and the radiator / cooler that fits in the back of this is to be developed as well. This part is a bugger to get out of the mold, it's like trying to rescue a mouse just swallowed by a snake, but it's well worth it to have it be an all-in-one part. This part can also be ordered produced in black. As is, it is standard resin, ready to finish, paint gloss black and cover with carbon fiber decals.

Formula Perfect Front Lower Splitter

This massive casting is designed to fit the Pocher F40 LM front perfectly. The alignment / mounting pins are not casting well so we will be providing machined pins to fit into the spoiler prior to fitting it to your model. We might also try casting them in place which will make using the part much easier for you and make installation nearly effortless. This part can also be ordered in black but it will also require finishing, priming, painting and wrapping in carbon fiber decals.

Formula Perfect Rear Wing

This is a correct rear wing for the Ferrari F40 LMs in 1/8 scale. This item will include correct photo etch end plates, degree setting indicator, Gurney Flap and machined hardware. This item will also be available in black. However, it will still require some finishing work, priming and painting prior to being wrapped in carbon fiber decals.
